Special Meals
Note:
Kosher meals are available on the international and regional segments of international and regional flights operated by Air China. Kosher meals are not available on all domestic flights and the domestic segments of international and regional flights.
You may reserve Kosher meals at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure of your flight.
You may reserve other special meals at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure of your flight.

Vegetarian Asian (hindu) meal |
This meal is usually ordered by passengers from the Asian Sub-Continent, which are generally include Asia-produced vegetables and do not contain meat or seafood. |

Baby meal |
This meal contains meat, vegetables or fruits. It may be pulp, minced meat, vegetable puree and dessert. |

Bland meal |
This meal includes low fat and low fiber foods. It avoids fried foods, black pepper, strong vegetables and condiments, mustard, pickles, garlic, nuts, and drinks containing caffeine or alcohol. It is suitable for passengers who suffer from stomach or intestinal problems. |

Child meal |
This meal contains foods that children enjoy. It avoids food with too much salt or sugar. |
| DBML |
Diabetic meal |
This meal contains low-sugar foods and is prepared for passengers who are diabetic. It does not contain sugar of any kind. |

Fruit platter meal |
This meal contains fruit only, including fresh fruit, fruit compote and fruit desserts. |

Gluten intolerant meal |
This meal is prepared for passengers who have a gluten allergy and intolerance. (Gluten is a protein existing in wheat, barley, oats and rye.) Breads, sauces, custards, cakes, chocolates, crackers, cereals and related products are strictly excluded. |

Hindu meal |
This meal does not include beef or pork. Lamb, poultry, other meats; fish and dairy are allowed. This special meal is prepared for a small number of Indian passengers who are allowed to eat meat or fish. |

Kosher meal |
All foods are prepared and served according to Jewish dietary requirements and are purchased from reputable manufacturers. (Note: Advanced notice of 48 hours is needed.) |

Low calorie meal |
This meal contains lean meat, low-fat dairy products and high-fiber foods. Sugars, creams, sauces, mayonnaise and fatty foods are excluded. |
| LFML |
Low fat meal |
This meal is for those who need to reduce their fat intake. It does not contain fried foods, fatty meats, dairy products, processed foods, gravy, offal, shellfish, egg yolks or baked goods. |

Low salt meal |
The amount of salt is controlled at a certain level in this meal. It is prepared for passengers with hypertension, urinary retention and nephropathy. There is no salt, garlic salt, glutamine, soda, pickles, canned meat and fish, creams, cheeses, shellfish, mashed potatoes, gravy, chicken powder, bread, and canned vegetables. |

Moslem meal |
No pork, bacon, ham, animal gelatin, animal fats, alcohol, non-scale fish, eel or turtle is used. All poultry and meats used are slaughtered and cooked according to Halal tradition. |

Low lactose meal |
No lactose, dairy or related products are used. No cheese, dairy, yogurt, butter, artificial meat products, cake, cookies, cream desserts, pudding, mashed potatoes, toffee, chocolate or cream is used. |

Vegetarian vegan meal |
Also known as “Vegan Meal”, this meal is totally free of animal products or by-products. It does not include meat, fish or dairy products, eggs, cheese and related products, or margarine. |

Vegetarian jain meal |
This meal is for members of the Jain community, whom are pure vegetarians. It is prepared using Asian methods. It contains no root vegetables such as onions, ginger, garlic or carrots, and contains no animal products and by-products. |

Vegetarian lacto-ovo meal |
This meal does not contain any meat, seafood or related products, but it may contain butter, cheese, milk and eggs. |
